Requirements
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The technician will work independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality service to our clients.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units.
Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment to identify issues.
Conduct repairs on mechanical components and appliances as needed.
Operate service vehicles for transportation to job sites.
Perform oil clean outs and annual maintenance for residential and commercial customers.
Handle duct work: Put together, hang, and size duct work (sizing experience is a plus).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service calls.
Document all service activities, including repairs made and parts used.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Requirements
Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the mechanical field.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems.
System Knowledge: Familiarity with air conditioning systems, ammonia refrigeration, and appliance repair.
Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for service calls.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on job sites.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Education: Certification in HVAC or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies related to HVAC services.
